距前方車、對向車100公尺以上　才可用遠燈！

任意變換車道可能被罰，車頭燈使用錯誤也會被罰，「霧燈」顧名思義是起濃霧時才行，遠燈則是距離前方車或對向車輛100公尺以上才能使用，如果有影片舉證，駕駛人在距離100公尺內不是打一次遠燈示意提醒，連續亮燈是可以開罰1200以上3600以下。

山區濃霧對向車打遠燈，不對；夜間行經市區，車輛迎面而來光束直照、打遠燈也違規！未依規定打遠燈、開霧燈別以為沒事，駕駛人只要能提出影片舉證，可以開罰1200以上3600元以下罰鍰。

記者廖容瑩：「不同的車頭燈要在什麼時候使用，才能避免用錯，因此挨罰。」

遠燈、近燈、霧燈，車頭亮燈使用時間點都不一樣，但最容易引起公憤的就是打遠燈，讓駕駛感到刺眼。依道路交通管理條例來說，行駛在道路上，無論是夜間會車或是前方有車輛，距離100公尺以內打遠燈影響安全，就是違規。

台中市交通大隊執法組陳惠仁：「(100公尺內)可以使用變換燈光1次，但是不得連續使用。」

閃一下大燈示意不罰，而除了遠燈，霧燈使用也有規定，遇上濃霧時大燈會影響視線，應該開黃色或橘紅色的霧燈，依照氣候調整使用。

台中市交通大隊執法組陳惠仁：「如果民眾被舉發，(會依)當日氣象局報告，看是否當天有霧，有濃霧的現象。」

不想被罰，駕駛人要記得起霧時才能用霧燈，距離對向車輛或前方車100公尺以外才能開遠燈，否則代價可是罰單一張。
